Signs welcome visitors to Point Pleasant

The Point Pleasant Environmental Commission recently took a major step in the beautification of Point Pleasant, erecting signs to welcome drivers and landscaping the immediate vicinity.

John Robertson, Owner of Bay Head Landscaping on Route 88 and member of the Commission, offered his design and landscaping expertise, as well as the donation of raw materials, to enhance the signs erected approximately a year previous by volunteer Jack Burke, with assistance from Commission member James Digney.

Mr. Robertson and the Environmental Commission enlisted the help of the Point Pleasant Garden Club and have completed two of four locations. The Commission officially commended him on a job well done at their last regular meeting on September 15th.
